Ministry Marketing LLC, doing business as Church Posting, a Kansas limited liability company, owns and operates Free Church Texting, free texting software for churches, and runs the signup form on freechurchtexting.com. It is the controller of the details you send here, and this page is its privacy policy for freechurchtexting.com. The churchposting.com site has its own policy at churchposting.com/privacy.

What the form collects

The form asks for your email address. After you send it, you can add your name, your church's name, its state and your role at the church, and all four are optional.

With each signup our server also keeps the date, your browser's user agent (a line of text that names your browser and device) and a scrambled code made from your IP address. That code lets us stop repeated automated signups, and we never store the IP address itself.

What we use it for

Ministry Marketing LLC uses your details to help your church register with the phone companies and to send you news about Free Church Texting, starting with a confirmation when you sign up and an email when it opens. We keep them in Ministry Marketing LLC's contact list and in a database at Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, and we do not sell them.

This site loads no advertising code and no analytics scripts.

Your church's data when the software opens

Free Church Texting opens on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. From then it will hold what your church puts into it: its contacts and groups, each person's permission and stop records, its texts and the replies, and its Twilio key, which is stored encrypted. Twilio is the company that carries the texts, and the key lets the software send through your church's own Twilio account.

Your church decides who gets its texts. Free Church Texting sends nothing of its own to your church's contacts and does not sell them, and your church can download its data and delete its account, which removes the data and the key.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send tells you how to come off the list. You can also write to hello@churchposting.com and ask us to delete your details.
